Responsible Alcohol Sales and Service (RASS) Professional Development Training is certified by the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control as a Level Two Training and meets all mandatory Responsible Beverage Sales and Service (RBSS) requirements. RASS is designed to encourage a responsible, caring and professional approach by licensees and their employees to the sales and services of alcoholic beverages. It is intended to prevent the negative impacts associated with underage access and irresponsible drinking in commercial establishments. We hope to provide owners, managers, servers, and sellers with knowledge about the relevant laws and techniques to increase profitability, protect your Alcoholic Beverage Control license and your job.

Special Event Server Training
Communities Against Substance Abuse provides Special Event Server Trainings to educate individuals about the sale and services of alcoholic beverages at a temporary or special occasion event such as fairs, festivals and other occasions where a one-day permit or temporary license is issued by California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. The training helps event mangers and servers/seller/volunteers understand and comply with alcohol policies to prevent selling alcohol to underage youth or intoxicated patrons.
