San Diegans Saying No 2 Meth
Methamphetamine Deaths Down, Five Years After Strike Force Formed


What:

March 19 marks the fifth anniversary of the County of San Diego’s Methamphetamine Strike Force. San Diego County was once dubbed the "Meth Capital of the World", but the tide has turned and it’s no accident. Meth Strike Force founders and leaders will convene to outline successes and celebrate the anniversary.

Why:
About 25 fewer deaths every year since Strike Force began
More than 350 children removed from meth environments
Meth Strike Force has become a national model
Fewer arrestees testing positive for meth
