Seniors and Others Celebrate the Millennium with Alcohol-Free Bingo


What:
Participants play bingo and count down to the New Year with sparkling cider, an alcohol-free and drug-free millennium party.

Who:
Seniors from the community, bingo lovers of all ages, people in recovery and staff volunteers.

Why:
No one needs to spend the evening home alone–especially senior citizens who may isolate themselves while others celebrate. This "Y2K bingo party" is open to all to share in the New Year's Eve celebration.

When:
Friday, December 31, 1999, 6:00 PM until 12:30 AM

Where:

McAlister Institute (Bingo Hall)
1365 North Johnson
El Cajon, CA 92020
(Johnson Exit from I-8, North on Johnson, McAlister is on the right)

Notes:
Cost is $13 for minimum card purchase, which includes open buffet. Proceeds from the bingo party will go to McAlister Institute substance abuse treatment and recovery programs.
